Paul brings nearly 30 years of experience in developing and overseeing trading desks within the domains of Fund Finance and Fund Derivatives, offering invaluable insights and expertise to clients seeking NAV and Margin finance solutions.
Previously, he served as the head of NAV Fund Financing at Deutsche Bank in London, where he dedicated the majority of his professional tenure, and more recently held a leadership position in Fund Financing at BNPP. His comprehensive grasp of products encompasses Fixed Income, Interest Rate Swaps, Foreign Exchange, and Risk Management. Notably, during his tenure at Deutsche Bank, he successfully navigated complex regulatory landscapes such as Volker, GBSA, and Basel as Volker Desk Head, US Swap Dealer, and 15a-6 registered trader, effectively managing trading books.
Paul's collaborative efforts extend to working closely with banks' Treasury, Prime Brokerage, and Risk teams, leveraging his expertise in Collateral Management and Cross Collateralisation to benefit his clients. Additionally, he concurrently managed an FX Overlay book, further enhancing his clients' financial strategies and helping to provide innovative Cross-Margin facilities.
Outside of his professional endeavours, Paul actively engages in volunteerism, enriching his multifaceted experience. He presently holds the position of Officer Commanding at a local RAF Air Cadets Squadron. He is also a qualified Rugby Coach, and a Sussex Society Rugby Referee, and helps with the Junior Section at the local Target Shooting Club. He also assists many local charitable organisations with their fundraising activities as well as being a member of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business Finance from Brunel University.
